Adaptation, surveillance, food security, and resilience planning now live in the same proposal space much more often than they did a few years ago.

Applicants who can bridge those areas cleanly often look more fundable than teams who stay in one narrow lane.

This is where partnership design starts to matter

Climate-health work often needs public agencies, field sites, and community or delivery partners as much as it needs laboratory depth.

That means the proposal succeeds when the partnership looks operationally credible, not only intellectually compelling.
